The Cliffs at Glassy joins ART OF THE HORSE as Premier Title Sponsor

Tryon, NC, April 12, 2018- Our Carolina Foothills is proud to announce that The Cliffs at Glassy has joined this year’s

ART OF THE HORSE public art project and fundraising campaign as our title sponsor.

“Shortly after we opened a dialogue about placing a horse at The Cliffs at Glassy during this year’s project, it occurred to us that they would be the ideal title partner. The Cliffs, much like Our Carolina Foothills, strives to better the life of their residents through the experience”, says founder and president of Our Carolina Foothills, Suzanne Strickland. “I don’t think it’s a coincidence that our tagline (Four Towns, 2 States, One Great Experience) and theirs (Seven Spectacular Communities, One Incredible Experience) are very similar.”

“The Cliffs at Glassy is pleased and proud to work with Our Carolina Foothills in support of our neighbors in Landrum, Tryon, Columbus and Saluda. The display of the horse at the front entrance to the community is unique and fun. We encourage everyone to post a selfie with the horse to #thehorseatglassy and #cliffsliving,” said Jennifer Hoover, Glassy Mountain Broker Liason.

ART OF THE HORSE is a community arts-based project that is in its second running. Life-size, painted ponies are currently “popping up” in the Foothills towns of Landrum, Tryon, Columbus, Saluda and surrounding areas. These will remain on public display through October when they will be auctioned off at the Auction Gala Event held at the Cliffs at Glassy. Thirty-two horses are part of this year’s project and half are already on public display.  The Cliffs at Glassy horse titled

“A Horse of a Different Color”, designed by Barbour Bordogna of Spartanburg, SC will be available for public viewing on April 15th beginning at 11:00 a.m. when this American Quarter Horse is unveiled.
